Caractérisation du canal radio mobile par un modèle de propagation TUD 3D

Abstract

This paper presents a 3D simulation software of radio waves propagation for the mobile systems. The software allows to predict the coverage zone of a base station and the behaviour of the transmission channel. After a brief recall of the radio channel characteristics for narrow and wide band signals, the theoretical basis of our model and theirs applications are describe. Different results provided by our software are proposed : the evolution of the received power on a mobile route, the delay spread and the 50% and 90% correlation bandwidth. After, to evaluate the capability of our software for the prediction of the previous parameters, measurements are considered as a reference.
