Evaluation and interoperable annotations: the point of view of a parser developer

The present paper is written within the framework of the French ANR-Passage project that gathers ten parser developers. The main motivations of the project are to evaluate parsers for French, to test their ac-curacy and robustness on large scale cor-pora and then to combine the resulting an-notations to create a richer and more exten-sive linguistic resource.
