Smart object design for active security management of hazardous products

The hazardous substances are products that need special attention from the personnel which manipulates them, therefore, there is an increased need for better security management of goods and people. In this paper we propose the design of the Smart Object capable to survey its own environment according to its own security rules and to cooperate with others surounding equiped products to manage the security level in acceptable boundaries. By this way, an Active Security Environment is created, in which, hazardous products transformed into Smart Objects monitor, notify and alarm when security conditions are inappropriate.
