The real-time stop-skipping in the urban transportation networks
Résumé
In this paper, we consider a real time regulation of traffic within disturbed transportation network. We aim to find a new schedule of bus transit system after the detection of a disturbance at a given time. Therefore, a mathematical model for a stop-skipping control strategy is developed. Particularly, this model uses real-time information of locations of buses on a route and assumptions of random distribution of passenger boarding and alighting. The main objective is to minimize waiting time of passengers at stations in case of a limited bus capacity. An approach of simulated annealing algorithm is used to solve this model
