Multiquadratic stability and stabilization of continuous-time multiple-model

Abstract

This paper deals with the stability analysis of a system represented by a multiple model. Based on a multiquadratic Lyapunov function candidate (MQLF), new asymptotic stability conditions for continuous case are presented in linear matrix inequalities (LMI) form. These stability conditions, extended to the controller synthesis, are formulated in bilinear matrix inequalities (BMI). Examples illustratre the proposed approach.
