Utilisation de fluoroalcènes en réaction de métathèse

Abstract : Organofluorine chemistry has blossomed over the past decades and numerous fluorinated molecules are implied in several areas in chemistry (materials, bioactives compounds, agrochemistry, electrochemistry, …). However, synthesis and functionalization of such compounds still represent an important challenge. Even if the metathesis reaction is a powerful synthetic tool in organic chemistry, its use for the formation of fluoroalkenes also remains to this day, a great synthetic challenge, especially in the context of the cross metathesis reaction which is scarcely reported in the literature. During this thesis combinating these two fields (fluorine chemistry and metathesis), a cross metathesis reaction featuring a fluoroacrylate has been elaborated, leading, for the first time, to trisubstituted fluoroalkenes, which can be used for further post-functionalization towards complexed fluorinated molecules.
