, Description des cas d'étude On rappelle que cette thèse s'inscrit dans le cadre du projet STAR (Système Transitique Agile et Robotisé), ce dernier se limite uniquement à la partie transitique des systèmes. 2.1. Cas d'étude N°01: Faurecia

. Le-cas-d'étude-faurecia-concerne-l'usine-de-nogent-sur-vernisson, Le site est composé de deux ateliers, la tôlerie et l'assemblage. Le premier reçoit des bobines d'acier afin de les emboutir dans l'une des 6 presses que compte l'atelier avant de les expédier, pour la majorité à l'atelier assemblage et pour le reste à d'autres entités du groupe ou à des clients externes. Le second atelier, réalise l'assemblage des pièces métalliques grâce à des cellules de soudure à bobine, électrique ou laser, ainsi que des visseuses et riveteuses. Cet atelier fait l'objet de l'étude menée pour le Projet STAR. Le service logistique vient alimenter ces deux unités et récupère les produits finis destinés aux clients. Certaines armatures sont peintes puis les sièges sont expédiés par camions vers les clients internes

, Le site est en cours de restructuration. L'ensemble de l'activité métal sera réorganisée de manière effective à l'horizon 2018. Le but de cette transformation ou modification est de simplifier les flux (physiques) internes afin d'améliorer les performances du système de production
