Conception Optimale Systémique des Composants des Chaînes de Traction Electrique

Abstract : Given the actual international concerns about global warming and oil depletion, there are increased interests on sustainable development. Thus, in order to preserve our actual mobility habits, it is very important to find new solutions for clean and efficient propulsion. Therefore, the global optimal design in the field of electric drive train is of major interest.

The present dissertation proposes a rational methodology for global optimal design and uses it to design electric drive trains. The methodology is general and is managed by constrained optimization. It allows different levels of granularity within the design model. A graphical user interface was developed in order to easily apply this methodology to various practical cases of design. Two objectives were considered. The first relates to the definition of the component specifications, the second one to the detailed design of one or more components of the drive train taking into account the whole system. These applications highlight the advantages of suggested methodology and the importance of a systemic approach.
