Elastic moduli of TiO2 up to 13 GPa
Résumé
TiO2 has been studied by Brillouin scattering up to pressure of 13 GPa. The phase transition at 9 GPa produces no marked changes in the measured elastic properties and only a very small nonlinearity is observed below the transition. The birefringence of the sample is also found to change only slightly under pressure.
