Electronic transport in strongly coupled and fully ionized H-He mixtures

Electronic transport in dense, fully ionized hydrogen-helium mixtures is investigated within the framework of the Faber-Ziman formalism. The electrical conductivity of the degenerate, nearly free electron gas is calculated, using the partial ionic structure factors obtained from numerical solutions of the HNC equations. The possible influence of the phase separation of H+ -He2+ mixtures on the conductivity is discussed.
