Comparaison des rapports aux savoirs de la physique et des SVT dans le cas d'élèves impliqués dans l'étude de ces disciplines

Abstract : Following science education research that takes the individual into account, this paper presents a comparison between relations to physics knowledge analysed in previous studies, and relations to biology and geology knowledge, explored during this study. The comparison is based on the case of students in grade 10 who are engaged in learning these subjects. It brings to light at the same time the specificities of the disciplines studied (e.g. utilitarian function of knowledge in physics and hedonist function in biology and geology), and particularities linked to types of relations to knowledge, independently of the different disciplines (e. g. easiness or difficulty to connect models and reality). Even if the study has some limits, it reveals that a comparatist point of view can lead to a better understanding of relations to different knowledge.
