Short New Ecological Paradigm in 30 European Countries: First Results
Résumé
This paper has three purposes: First, it presents the results of the battery of questions concerning the New Ecological Paradigm (NEP) tested for the first time in the European Values Survey of 2008; Second, it undertakes a critical analysis of the NEP scale, showing its heterogeneity and consequently proposing a specific typology; Third, it suggests some explanations, rejecting wrong sociodemographic hypotheses, and supporting anti-institutionnal and individualistic ones.
