"Conversation avec Mary Reynolds"

Résumé

Mary Reynolds is a reformed Irish landscape designer, bestselling author of The Garden Awakening (Cambridge, Green Books, 2016) and We Are the ARK (Portland, Timber Press, 2022), and a nature activist. She grew up on a farm in Wexford and is known for being the youngest woman to win a gold medal at the Chelsea Flower Show in 2002. She later completely changed her way of working the land as a gardener to become a nature activist and a guardian of the land. Mary Reynolds is the founder of the global, grassroots movement We Are the ARK (Acts of Restorative Kindness to the Earth) and her goal is to educate people to live in harmony with nature on their own patch of land – to become “guardians” rather than gardeners. Her career as a landscape designer and latter accomplishments inspired the biographical drama Dare to Be Wild (2016).
