De l’épisode phobique au devenir metteur en scène d’opéra du « petit Hans » : Une voi(e)x d’accès à l’inconscient et ses musiques

Abstract : The case of «Little Hans» is one of the most commented upon in analytical literature. His becoming of an operatic stage director as from 1925 in Europe and then in the United States of America, is much less known. This may seem all the more surprising as Freud detects very early on this emerging interest in Hans. Yet Freud does not mention it, neither in 1909 when he relates the case, nor when Hans visits him in 1922, even though Hans had already at this point decided to become a stage director for opera. The author of this article endeavors to illustrate how this artistic choice could be understood as a way of accommodating, in a double transferential relationship to Freud and to his father, the non analysed remains of « Krawal » (term invented by Hans himself) and of « the black stain », both of which appeared during the phobic period.
