Numerical simulation of coherent structures in the atmospheric boundary layer above a forest canopy
Résumé
This study deals with 3D LES numerical simulation between the atmospheric boundary layer and a forest canopy. The computations were carried out, first above an homogeneous canopy, and the results were compared with experimental data from the literature. Then, the configuration was generalized to a discontinuous canopy, representing a fuel break or a clearing in a forest.
