Topography of the Absence of the Iranian Political Exiles

This article focuses on one of the author's artistic cartographies that conceptualizes the relationship between memory and space, and between absence and temporality. Inspired by the topographical study undertaken by Patrick Modiano in his book Dora Bruder, the author, in turn, presents a topography of the current map of Tehran in order to show the anomaly that the absence of political activists from the 1980s constitutes in Iran today.

Cet article porte sur l'une des cartographies artistiques de l'autrice qui conceptualise le rapport entre le souvenir et l’espace, et entre l'absence et la temporalité. En s'inspirant de l'étude topographique entreprise par Patrick Modiano dans son livre Dora Bruder, l'autrice présente à son tour une topographie de la carte actuelle de Téhéran dans le but de montrer l'anomalie que constitue aujourd'hui en Iran l’absence des militants politiques de la des années 1980.
