The invention relates to a method for generating a control setting for a control component (22, 23, 24) of a motor vehicle (20), said control component being suitable for varying the acceleration of the motor vehicle. According to the invention, said setting is generated as a function of a mathematical model taking into account the nerve response of the human vestibular system to an acceleration.
