Time-dependent conformal transformations and the propagator for quadratic systems

Abstract : Inomata and his collaborators calculated the quantum propagator of a quadratic system by transforming it to a free form by a time-dependent transformation. The latter is related to that of Niederer. Its Eisenhart-Duval lift is a Bargmann-conformal transformation to flat space, also related to the mapping proposed by Arnold. The method is applied to the damped Caldiroli-Kanai oscillator with possibly time-dependent frequency, illustrated by the Mathieu equation.
