THE MISSION OF EDUCATORS IN MACHINING IN REDUCING GENDER INEQUALITY WITH THE INDUSTRY 4.0

A MISSÃO DAS DOCENTES EM USINAGEM NA REDUÇÃO DA DESIGUALDADE DE GÊNERO COM A INDÚSTRIA 4.0

There is no doubt that the woman's place is where she desires. However, one can reflect on the natural stimuli that increase the possibilities to achieve female parity in the manufacturing engineering job market in the face of new technologies. It is believed that one of the missions on teaching is to present the example and the path to knowledge combined with a reflection on the future and technical development. In this way, women professors and researchers in the manufacturing area can, in addition to the main objectives, influence to feed the students subconscious regarding the normality of a woman in the face of machines and mechanical production. This article is the result of this study based on a qualitative consultation through data queries and bibliographic review. The main objective is to reveal whether the current technological and social moment can corroborate the evolution of the history of gender imbalance in the area of manufacturing and, especially, of machining.

Que o lugar da mulher é onde ela desejar, não há dúvidas. Porém pode-se refletir sobre os estímulos naturais que aumentam as possibilidades para alcançar a paridade femininas no mercado de trabalho da Engenharia de fabricação diante das novas tecnologias. Acredita-se que uma das missões da docência é apresentar o exemplo e o caminho para o conhecimento e apresentar uma reflexão sobre o futuro aliado ao desenvolvimento técnico. Desta forma, as mulheres docentes na área de fabricação podem, além dos objetivos principais, influenciar a alimentar o subconsciente dos estudantes em relação a normalidade de uma mulher diante das máquinas e da produção mecânica. Este artigo é resultado desta reflexão com base em uma consulta qualitativa através de questionários para levantamento de dados e de embasamento bibliográfico. O objetivo principal é revelar se o momento tecnológico e social atual poderá corroborar a evolução do história de desequilíbrio de gênero na área de fabricação e, especialmente, da usinagem.
