Témoignages professionnels d’une alternative pédagogique d’éducation bilingue : 2LPE, p.17-29

Abstract : This article brings together three writers from three different professional backgrounds with the same desire to provide a retrospective overview of the complex relationship between French Sign Language and school institutions. This unique collaboration reflects the desire to develop and reinforce the means to transmit, and share, the different experiences with French Sign Language users, researchers and teachers. How may we envisage the role of French Sign Language for the education of young deaf children ? Has a bilingual education -FSL/ French language-been considered ? Is such an approach feasable in the French sociolinguistic context ?
