Exploring the physicalization of motivational data in the acquisition of good sleep behaviors for adolescents

Abstract : New approaches, such as gamification, have been developed in recent years to keep students motivated while learning in digital environments. However, these approaches only apply in the digital space and cannot ensure the continuity of student motivation in physical spaces and/or outside the classroom, a strong limitation in the context of hybrid learning. In this article, we explore different approaches to the physicalization of motivational data within the framework of the LUDISOM project, dedicated to the acquisition of good sleep behaviors by teenagers (4th grade students). This preliminary work provides a reflection on the approach of data physicalization applied to motivation in a school context.
