Les "Charter schools" : un compromis d'avenir ?

Résumé

"Charter Schools" in the United States are schools which have signed a contract with the education authorities giving them greater autonomy. It is a measure which has been adopted in order to improve the efficiency and the quality of teaching. The article examines the issue of whether or not "Charter Schools" are the forerunner of a new model for education based on privatisation and competition or a limited experiment intended to respond to the needs of specific groups.
