The planetary scale event represented by the Covid-19 has profoundly modified life patterns and communication styles. In this essay we will talk about the increase in the consumption of news on the Internet and of communications on social media, with the related baggage of fake news and methods to counter them. How political-institutional communication has changed in an emergency situation that required a global lockdown in the months between March and June 2020. The relapses that had the Dad (distance teaching) and the use of smartworking. And finally the role of science and scientists in this particular historical moment that we are still living.
