L’agence littéraire Bradley ou le livre au service de l’histoire : nouvelles perspectives de recherche

Abstract : This article stems from the dearth of scholarship on literary agents and seeks to introduce the opportunities that the archives of literary agents may represent in the fields of economic, social, cultural and transnational history. The article is rooted in American, French and English historiographies in the history of the book and print culture and offers examples taken from the papers of the Bradley literary agency in the interwar period.
