Rituels grecs en couleurs : les dessous chromatiques d’une exposition polysensorielle

Abstract : This paper deals with some of the experiments that were made for an exhibition devoted to Greek rituals in the Museum Saint-Raymond of Toulouse in 2017-2018. The scenography and the scientific dimension of the exhibition focused on the sensorial dimension. In order to alert the public to the role played by colours in Ancient Greece, a small funerary marble stela has been created and painted. The paper explains the different steps of the experimental protocol, from the conception to the display in the exhibition.
