All-fibered high-quality 40-GHz to 200 GHz pulse sources based on nonlinear compression of besselons

We experimentally demonstrate the generation of pulse trains with repetition rates of 40-GHz, 80 GHz or 200 GHz. Our approach is based on the nonlinear compression of besselon pulses in a highly-nonlinear fiber with normal dispersion. The pulses are of high quality, with a subpicosecond duration.
