Quel rapport entre la métacognition et la performance à l’écrit ? : Analyse de la situation d’étudiants en sciences humaines

Abstract : The present summary shows the results of a research developed to establish the relationship between metacognitive process and writing performance of french students at college level. questionnaires and interviews were conducted to collect the data. Seven students enrolled in the programs of psychology and educational sciences participated in this research. The results of the study partially confirmed the hypothesis that stated that there is a positive relationship between performance and metacognition in the writing process. The analysis showed the importance of the metacognitive knowledge and individual competence of the writers in using information to plan and monitor their writing productions.
