Régionalisations énergétiques sud-américaines

Abstract : In South America, in the 20th century, energy was a fundamental dimension of regional integration. With the crisis of institutional integration, energy should be thought anew. The evolution of energy systems is currently driven by national strategies of energy transition towards energy systems with less emissions and a broader spatial distribution, including the growth of renewable energies. This transition can give way to transborder cooperation or conflicts. Nevertheless, projects for electric connexion are still being discussed and might contribute to the energy transition.
