O cosmopolitismo de William Godwin
Résumé
It is to show that for William Godwin, in his Enquiry Concerning Political Justice, the question of relations between the individual and humanity, or between small civil societies and the whole of mankind, draws a form of alternative cosmopolitanism. According to the author, it is necessary to act in every circumstance for the good of all men, but also and above all, to open up to the closer union with the "human family". The whole point, then, is for Godwin to imagine a political form that allows the individual and local exercise of justice to have universal effects.
