Authorship pattern in cryogenics research as reflected in "Cryogenics" Journal

Being a leading journal in cryogenic research area, the Journal “Cryogenics” published by Elsevier has been selected for this study. The data were downloaded from Web of Science from 1964 to 2014 (51 years). Through bibliometric techniques attempt has been made to analyse the characteristics of the journal “Cryogenics” during 1964 to 2014. This study investigates the growth pattern, year-wise, institution-wise, country-wise distribution of articles. The prolific authors along with the h-index and the obtained citations have been tabulated. The fitness of Lotka’s law has been tested using K-S test.
