Coluche président : de la satire à l'action politique
Résumé
The performances of French comedian Coluche create a world populated by historically situated characters who are usually social
underdogs. In 1977, he began to take on the role of spokesperson for a project that was both satirical and political, commenting on and
criticising social inequality in the manner of a comic sociologist. This project was fully realised in the political sphere when Coluche stood
for the 1980 French Presidential elections.
Dans ses spectacles, Coluche dessine un monde social constitué d’une galerie de personnages dominés, historiquement situés. En 1977, à
la manière d’un sociologue comique et en recourant à la satire, il commente et critique ce monde inégalitaire pour porter un double
projet comique et politique et prendre la posture d’un porte-parole, ce qu’il réalise dans le champ politique en 1980 quand il se présente
à la présidence de la République.
