Du "bon geste" à l'intégration de la prévention des TMS dans une formation au métier de sellier ?

Abstract : We present the first results of a study which belongs to a research program. It aims to develop video tools for initial saddler’s training. One of them has to include the prevention of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). This study is a first work step. We explain the participatory and iterative device set up to analyze the leather cutting activity with the trainers and its first results. Our device seems to lead some trainers to revise their training model, but we also identify difficulties: the “right gesture” model and the trainers’ relation to occupational health may be barriers when it comes to getting trainers to integrate prevention of MSDs in their teaching and when they guide trainees.
