Influence of 3D constitutive laws on the impact response of a concrete slab
Résumé
The aim of this paper is to assess the performance of various 3D constitutive laws to analyze the collapse mode of a reinforced concrete slab under impact type loading and to predict its ultimate strength. Simulations are performed using the finite Element method with three dimensional elements associated with concrete and with bar elements for steel. Models of various complexities (ranging from linear elasticity to plasticity and / or damage) are tested. It is shown especially how each model influences the global response of the structure. The best agreement is finally obtained with a softening plasticity model using two yield surfaces.
