Adaptive nonlinear output feedback for transient stabilization and voltage regulation of power generators with unknown parameters
Résumé
This work presents a nonlinear adaptive output feedbak exitation ontrol, designed for a synhronous
generator modeled by a standard third order model on the basis of the physially available
measurements of relative angular speed, ative and reative eletri power and terminal voltage.
The power angle, whih is a ruial variable for the exitation ontrol, as well as mehanial power
and the impedane of the transmission line onneting the generator to an innity bus, are not
assumed to be available for feedbak. The feedbak ontrol ahieves transient stabilization and
voltage regulation when faults our to the turbines or the transmission lines, suh that parameters
(mehanial power and line impedane) may permanently take any (unknown) value. The ontroller
reovers by adaptation the unknown values and simultaneously generates tra jetories to be followed
by the states, that onverge to the new equilibrium point.
