Empathie et expérience picturale dans l’apprentissage d’une langue étrangère

Abstract : In this article, we will study the mediating role of empathy among students learning French as a foreign language through an artistic pictorial experience. This paper will examine the links that can be established between empathy and artistic practices in a plurilingual and pluricultural class at Sorbonne Nouvelle University. We will also consider to what extent empathy can be seen as a fa-cilitating skill in the learning process of the target language.
