Frères migrants - une poétique en abyme
Résumé
The aim of this article is to show how, in Frères migrants by Patrick Chamoiseau, the osmosis between the content of the discourse and the formal aspects of the text is achieved; how the form not only serves the discourse but also says itself, how the form is significant, how a form-sense is constructed that expresses a vision of the world and a call to the imagination, to aesthetic desire. The poet of the Relation wants to inspire an identity-rhizome that is sketched out at the different levels that linguistics explores and that constitute the language: the lexicon, the syntax, the rhythm, the semantics and the figural.
L'enjeu de cet article est de montrer comment, dans Frères migrants de Patrick Chamoiseau, se réalise l'osmose entre le contenu du discours et les aspects formels du texte ; comment la forme ne fait pas que servir le discours mais dit aussi elle-même, comment la forme est signifiante, comment se construit une forme-sens qui exprime une vision du monde et un appel à l'imaginaire, au désir esthétique. Le poète de la Relation veut inspirer une identité-rhizome qui s'esquisse aux différents niveaux qu'explore la linguistique et qui constituent la langue : le lexique, la syntaxe, le rythme, le sémantique et le figural.
