Le phénomène des dépôts de miniatures d’armes dans les sanctuaires celtes : réflexions à partir de l’exemple des Rèmes

Abstract : By the end of the Celtic period, between the 2nd and the last quarter of the 1st century B.C., new types of votive offerings were placed in sanctuaries. These include enigmatic miniature weapons, difficult to identify and characterize. Yet they seem to have an important symbolic value as offerings by purpose. This paper will try to characterize this phenomenon by studying three Celtic ritual contexts from de French Ardennes : Acy-Romance, Baâlons-Bouvellemont and Mouzon.
