Pratique enseignante interdisciplinaire en sciences : Étude exploratoire d'un projet en 6ème

Abstract : This research, which is part of a thesis, takles the issue of teaching practices within the interdisciplinary science project of a French college called Pailleron in Paris. The distinctive characteristic studied is the teaching of science lessons with students of 6th, SEGPA (general andvocational adapted section) and UP2A (non-french speaking newcomer section) students by teachers who are not always familiar with the subject. A preliminary phase of interviews identified difficulties in carrying out these lessons. They indicate that teachers feel helpless facing a somewhat technical vocabulary, or facing the links established between activities or concepts when the lesson has been developed by another teacher. This study made it possible to understand the functioning of this project, to make a list of the tools developed, to address the difficulties met, to bring out the issue and the first research questions of doctoral research.
