15 The genus Halanaerobaculum comprises one species with validly published name, 16 Halanaerobaculum tunisiense, which was isolated from hypersaline surface sediments of El-17 Djerid Chott, Tunisia. The genus is halophilic, strict anaerobic and chemoorganotrophic.
