Softwarisation et Webification, la révolution logicielle des réseaux

Abstract : The Telecom industry is experiencing unprecedented transformation with the introduction of paradigms developed in the IT world that are nowadays adopted by major industry players. Two concepts that illustrate this trend are introduced: network softwarization and service webization. This paper aims at analyzing the impact of these models on network architecture and design on the one hand, and on network operations that inevitably get automated on the other hand. This huge transformation additionally improves the deployment of this new generation of networks. Standardization processes are somehow disrupted with the introduction of these new technologies which call for fast development and integration.
