Génération automatique de définitions pour le français

Abstract : Definition modeling is a recent task that aims at producing dictionary definitions based on wordembeddings. We observe two gaps : (i) the current state of the art has yet to tackle languages otherthan English or Chinese and (ii) the purported usability as an evaluation method for word embeddingshas yet to be verified. Hence we propose a dataset for French definition modeling and evaluate howusing different input embeddings impacts the performances of a simple definition modeling system.
