Analyse des parcours des apprenants du MOOC « La classe inversée à l’ère du numérique ».

Abstract : Summary : This paper aims to study and characterize the behavior of learners of a MOOC by using their digital logs (connection information, contents consulting data, interaction metadata, etc.). The MOOC studied was designed by Réseau Canopé to train teachers on the different pedagogical approaches on the Flipped Classroom (Lebrun and Lecoq, 2016). Given the diversity of the audience for this training, the designer questioned the motivations, goals, and behaviors of learners during their learning period. The aim is to draw up different learners' profiles according to their implications in the different course chapters that spread over six weeks (ex. who completes the training, who participates in the exercises, who drops out, etc.). This allows a global vision during the course's span on the usage and commitment of the participants and will then eventually contribute [in the following editions of this MOOC] to allow Réseau Canopé to effectuate an appropriately timed intervention, if the participants reproduce a distinct and recognizable set of behaviors. Our study therefore consists of a characterization of learners' profiles from the 2nd session of the French MOOC "La classe inversée à l'ère du numérique" ("The flipped classroom in the digital age") and the behaviors associated with each one of them by focusing on the usages we can observe in the logs (the nature of and the number of different types of actions, among others) according to Cisel (2017). The behaviors that are not observable in the MOOC logs are not part of this study, as they were the subject of a survey carried out separately by Réseau Canopé.
