Bandung 60 years on: what assessment ?

“BANDUNG 60 YEARS ON: WHAT ASSESSMENT?" is a title of a one-day seminar organised at the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne on June 27, 2014. Initiated and coordinated by Darwis Khudori, the seminar was co-hosted by CHAC (Centre d'Histoire de l'Asie Contemporaine, Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne) and GRIC (Groupe de Recherches Identités et Cultures, Université Le Havre Normandie). It was the first of a series of conferences organised in several countries along the year 2014-2015 in the framework of commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the 1955 Bandung Asian-African Conference. Around 30 participants including 12 presenters were involved the whole day from 8:30 to 18:00 local time. The presenters were Samir AMIN (Egypt/Senegal/France), Youcef BENABDALLAH (Algeria), Omar BENDERRA (Algeria/France), Adams BODOMO (Ghana/Austria), Amzat BOUKARI-YABARA (Benin/Martinique/France), Nadia CHETTAB (Algeria), Darwis KHUDORI (Indonesia/France), Lazare KI-ZERBO (Burkina Faso/France), Boutros LABAKI (Lebanon), NGUYEN Dac Nhu-Mai (Vietnam/France), Ricardo PARVEX (Chile/France), Dominique Martin SAATENANG (Cameroon/France), Hugues TERTRAIS (France). This report is aimed at giving a general idea on the content and the actors of the day. A4, 16 pages, text and photos.
