Abstract : We deal in this paper with the transition from the RESEDA's metalanguage, expressly created for dealing with historical information concerning the French Humanism in the 14th and 15th Centuries, to NKRL, a knowledge representation language for dealing with "narrative" information in general. We have then tried to show that this passage, without compromise in any way the possibility of dealing in a computerized advanced way with the original historical information, has introduced on the contrary some interesting and up-to-data innovations that can render even more efficient the description and management of historical data according to the original RESEDA approach.
