Interval Observers Design for Uncertain Multiple Model systems

Abstract : This paper considers the design of an interval observer for decoupled multiple models admitting uncertainties in system parameters and additive output disturbances. Sufficient LMI conditions to ensure the convergence of the estimation error in the nominal case and the bounded estimates in the case of uncertainties and output disturbances are given by Lyapunov stability analysis. The effectiveness and appeal of the proposed method is demonstrated using an illustrative example.
