Synthesis and Characterization of Functionalizable Silsesquioxanes with Ladder-type Structures
Résumé
Novel tetravinyl-and tetraallyl-substituted laddersiloxanes were synthesized and characterized. It was shown that peripheral olefins could successfully undergo hydrosilylation quantitatively, possibly leading to tetrahalide ladder structures. All reported functional laddersiloxanes LS (LS-Vinyl4, LS-Allyl4, LS-Cl4 and LS-I4) thus constitute promising building blocks for more complex inorganic-organic hybrid materials.
