Functional erythropoietin‐hepcidin axis in recombinant human erythropoietin independent haemodialysis patients

Abstract : Relatively few haemodialysis (HD) patients remain independent of recombinant human erythropoietin ('rHU-EPO free patients'). We investigated the role of EPO and hepcidin, two key hormones involved in anaemia.
