Plant Cell Biology: How to Give Root Hairs Enough ROPs?

Abstract : Root hairs are precisely positioned close to the rootward end of epidermal cells. A new study shows that the successful production of root hairs is a two-step process with different molecular players driving the initial polarization and subsequent hair outgrowth.
