, Les ressorts traditionnels de la documentation (le langage, écrit ou parlé, ainsi que l'image, fixe ou en mouvement) cèdent la place à la saisie du mouvement corporel, accessible en tant que donnée numérique : « Ce qui est essentiel dans ce projet [Motion Bank] c'est que c'est le mouvement (animation numérique) qui communique à propos du mouvement (des corps) 20 . » La visualisation des données n'épuise pas le mouvement mais au contraire suscite d'autres recherches artistiques. Cette « documentation créative » efface la séparation entre archive et création tout en suscitant une porosité entre le corps et l'archive. En filigrane, au-delà de la documentation de certaines oeuvres majeures du chorégraphe, une autre mémoire de la danse se dessine : une mémoire du corps en mouvement
