On the bifurcation analysis of a bistable piezo-magneto-elastic energy harvester

The nonlinear behaviour of an energy harvesting device output power is analysed, for different forcing amplitude and excitation frequency conditions, from bifurcation diagrams. The dynamics is widely investigated considering the system hysteresis effects in order to map chaotic and regular output power regions. The results provide a wealth perspective of the system response from a straightforward analysis for relatively reduced computational cost.
